some thoughts...

a message to musicians thinking about contributing some sort of recorded tracks.

i think most of if not all the bands/artists so far are recording lo-fi or acoustic songs for this. i think my goal with the "cd" is to make it something a little tame and relaxing and entertaining then my own personal tastes would have you believe. if you are interested or know anyone who is interested in contributing a musical piece, we will be making a small back event only cd of the tracks that have been submitted.

and to anyone who may or may not be wondering "HOW CAN I HELP OUT?" or "WHAT CAN I DO?"

i think we are going to be asking anyone who wants to contribute but doesn't know how to or feels that they aren't an artist or musician or writer or speaker, to donate to a paypal account, that will be going up after the new year, to fund t-shirts, postcards, stickers, pins and various other merchandise we would like to make for the event that will be available at the event (again all funds/proceeds will go to the cancer research organizations we will be selecting) . we are definitely going to be making black shirts with big pink ribbons that say "I SUPPORT TITS" (which believe it or not is the idea that started all of this), post cards with tasteful breast shots and various stickers and pins so even those who only have a couple bucks to spare can contribute and get something in return. i would love to hear some feed back on this so please open up and leave some comments.
